Jill B's Story

Year Diagnosed: 2005
Type of Cancer: ovarian

My neurologist had just given me a new medicine which he said would cause about two weeks of nausea and then go away. Not only didn't it go away, but it got much worse. That symptom, along with bloating and unusual fatigue combined with reading about ovarian cancer sent me to my gynecologist. Tests found a mass and surgery removed everything and I was staged with early ovarian cancer. I ended up having four rounds of chemo and I have not had a recurrence since. I work to help other women catch it as early as possible.
