Year Diagnosed: 2006
Type of Cancer: leiomyosarcoma of the uterus
I had a total abdominal hysterectomy due to fibroids in November 2006, at which time it was discovered that I had Leiomyosarcoma of the uterus. I continue to have CAT scans every 3 months to ensure that it has not returned. This diagnosis has changed me. I live life to the fullest and cherish each & every day.
