Tammi's Story
Year Diagnosed: 2007
Type of Cancer: breast
I am 39 years old and was diagnosed three weeks ago with invasive ductal carcenoma. My cancer has not been staged as of yet. I am scheduled for surgery in two weeks. My tumor is located beside the sentinel node. I'm scared. But I am trying very hard to remain positive. Since my diagnosis I have met many survivors of this horrible disease. I have yet to meet one that did not inspire me. I hope as I go through my journey, I will be as inspiring as the women I have met. I look forward to carrying their smile.
