Summary:
The Suzanne Lee Prince Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit public charity organization with the primary mission of promoting awareness to Vulvar Cancers and a secondary focus on Neuroendocrine Cell Cancers. Our goal is to educate the public primarily on Vulvar Cancers by providing information through the website and distributing pamphplets outlining signs and symptoms and advocating at least monthly vulvar self-examinations through participations in health fairs and speaking to women about Vulvar Cancers. We also provide emotional support to women diagnosed with Vulvar Cancers by helping them understand their treatments as ordered by their own physicians as well as keep them informed of news regarding Vulvar Cancers through phone and emails. We believe that awareness will eventually encourage science and the medical community for more research on Vulvar Cancers, especially the rare forms. We look forward to the day that treatment protocols are established and hopefully, a cure.
