MEDLINEplus brings together, by health topic, authoritative information from the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government, non-profit, non-government-health-related organizations. Preformulated MEDLINE searches are included in MEDLINEplus and give easy access to the medical research literature. There are also lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, health information from the media, and links to thousands of clinical trials.
