National Cervical Cancer Public Education Campaign

Service Provided: Advocacy Group, Information/Education

Summary:

The National Cervical Cancer Public Education Campaign gives women and their doctors' information about what causes cervical cancer and the best ways of finding out if you have it. Finding cervical cancer early means that fewer women will get or die from it.

The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF) is the Campaign’s lead partner. Its physician members make sure that all the information on the site is correct and up-to-date.

GCF provides information about preventing gynecologic cancer and about early diagnosis and proper treatment. GCF donates money for research, and helps train doctors and other healthcare workers about gynecologic cancers.

The Campaign also partners with other women's, health, and cancer organizations to give women information about cervical cancer, HPV, and ways to detect them.
