Summary:
The Mission of the National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC) is to: 1) Enhance awareness of cervical cancer prevention, the Pap smear and proper follow-up, HPV, new technology and treatment options. 2) Clearly communicate the success of cervical cancer screening programs in battling cervical cancer disease. 3) Assist in efforts related to cervical cancer disease research. 4) Be active in helping to battle cervical cancer disease for uninsured underserved women and work to assure access and education programs continue and are enhanced. 5)Act as a clearinghouse in distributing information on cervical cancer for women and family members. 6) Provide support services for women and their family members to assist with the personal burden of dealing with cancer or precancerous issues. 7) Review and assist in the development of National and International cervical screening and treatment programs.
