November 1999 Watch your mail next week for the arrival of our final 1999 GCF Bulletin. Below is a sneak preview with highlights of GCF's latest progress: GCAM Results Are Pouring In In September alone, Media efforts resulted in;
GCF/Office on Women's Health/Center for Disease Control/National Cancer Institute and Advocacy Groups Unite GCF will be spearheading the development of a gynecologic oncology multi-media presentation kit which will be geared toward informing primary care physicians and other health providers about the facts on gynecologic cancer. This kit will be made available at no cost to all SGO/GCF members and sent to all medical schools and other health organizations by May 2000, just in time for members to use during GCAM 2000. GCF is pleased to be working with the above partners on this important project. GCF/NCI Fellowship Program Successfully Fills Positions Congratulations to the new GCF/NCI Fellows; Dr. Amir A Jazaeri who will be completing his clinical work at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Dr. Ginger J. Gardner who will be doing her clinical work at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
