Mission of the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation

The mission of the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation is to identify, develop and seek funding for programs which reduce the impact of gynecologic cancers on the physical and emotional health of women and their families.

GCF programs are designed to:

  1. Increase public awareness of ways to prevent, detect and treat gynecologic cancers;

  2. Increase public awareness of the central role of gynecologic oncologists in these activities;

  3. Train a cadre of clinicians/scientists to participate in clinically relevant research in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute;

  4. Support promising, innovative research related to malignancies arising in gynecologic organs.
