Winter 2003
Is GCF Worth it?
November kicked off GCF's 2002 year-end donor drive, a time when we looked to you for encouragement and aid in continuing the battle against women's cancers. The theme, "Is GCF Worth it? Worth Magazine thought so, do you?" capitalized on the Foundation being named one of America's best charities by Worth Magazine in 2002. GCF was one of only two organizations, out of 100, solely focused on women's health that received the honor. The "100 Best Charities" designation reflects GCF's extraordinary success in creating and implementing programs that reflect the goals of contributors.
A progress report detailing successes and highlights of new programs as well as a donor pledge card, were mailed to all supporters in November. While the drive for 2002 has come to an end, we appreciate your continued support.
We have a very ambitious strategic plan for 2003 and your support will assist us in maintaining our current momentum and also help take GCF to a new level.
