Public Service Announcement Still Going Strong

The Fran Drescher PSA audience numbers continue to grow! At press time, the PSA has played more than 8,500 times in more than 145 markets since its release in June 2002. What this means for GCF:

  • GCF's educational message has reached over 110 million people.
  • 32 percent of the stations that played the PSA were in the top 50 markets, and over 50 percent were in the top 100.
  • The CBS network, home of Drescher's sitcom 'The Nanny,' has played the PSA more than any other network, which is a direct result of our efforts to gain CBS network approval of the piece. The Bravo Network has also come out as a big supporter of the PSA, continuing to air it on its network.
  • It also aired at a Houston Astros baseball game and Los Angeles Kings hockey game!

Rest assured, this PSA has longevity. We expect to see more results throughout the coming months.
