Allied Support Group Gears Up for 2003 Meeting

On Friday, January 31 the 19 member organizations of our Allied Support Group will meet again where the groups will update each other on new and current programs, and there is also time allotted to work on the development of a mission statement for the group as well as do some strategic planning. The meeting on January 31 will also serve to identify new goals and projects for 2003 and beyond.

Members of the GCF Allied Support Group applaud each other’s efforts during the group update portion of the September 2002 meeting.

Our two newest members are Gilda's Club and FORCE. Gilda's Club focuses on women living with cancer and to provide emotional and social support to men, women and children with any kind of cancer. FORCE's goal is to provide information, support and guidance to women facing the risk of ovarian and/or breast cancers. GCF is thrilled to have both Gilda's Clubs and FORCE as members.
