Music to Our Ears

Always searching for new, creative ways to raise awareness on a grassroots level, GCF recently incorporated song into its repertoire. The Foundation’s newest partnership with Rita’s Gynecologic Cancer Eradication (RGCE) Network will raise money for gynecologic cancer research through a series of concerts held across the United States. Famed musicians, including New York opera and Broadway singer, Tessa Lang, a mezzo-soprano, tenor Johannes Schwaiger, and pianist Nathan Matthews, will lend their talents to aid the cause. The first RGCE concert, "A Tribute to Our Mothers," was held in Short Hills, N.J. on May 20, 2001.
