Annual Meeting Features Free Seminar
In response to last year’s successful seminar in Phoenix, Arizona, women of all ages have been invited to another free seminar on cancer and early detection.
This seminar will be held in conjunction with the SGO/GCF annual meeting from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, February 8, at the Disney World Dolphin, Orlando, Florida. The open forum is sponsored by Centecor, Inc., and will be hosted by GCF.
Participants will learn screening guidelines, healthy lifestyles and how to access the health care system from a panel of experts. Local experts will also participate in a lively question and answer session with the audience.
"It’s a wonderful opportunity for our members to increase public awareness about gynecologic cancer," said GCF Chairman Wesley C. Fowler, Jr., MD. "GCF was founded to support philanthropic programs and this seminar is offered in the same supportive spirit."
