Getting the Message Out
PSA Carries Message Nationwide
In early October, 730 public service directors across the country were notified of the public service announcement (PSA) that features actress/singer/spokesperson, Cher, urging women to call GCF’s toll-free "Information Hotline." It was distributed twice during the month via satellite transmissions.
The PSA advisory also has been transmitted into television newsroom computer systems nationally.
In our next issue, we will share our preliminary report of the number of stations that aired the PSA, including the station, its affiliate, the market, the market rank, and the total number of confirmed airings by date and time. Meanwhile, watch for the ad in your area!
