GCF's 1- 800 Number...
Over 34,000 Served!
Since it's launch in November 1994, GCF's Information Hotline (1-800-444-4441) has received over 34,000 calls.
The popularity of this service has been reflected by the sheer volume of consumer interest.
Since April 1996, the Hotline has received over 5,000 requests for the Active Prevention Guide by mail and another 500 by fax. In addition, over 900 physician directories have been requested by consumers during that same period.
Also, a staggering 19,400 callers since April 1996 have called for referral information.
These numbers demonstrate that the Hotline is certainly succeeding in its mission to inform the public about gynecologic cancers.
You can help continue this success by promoting the 800 number as an outstanding information vehicle.
