ACS, AARP Invited to Co-Sponsor Community Forum
The SGO and GCF have invited the American Cancer Society and the American
Association of Retired Persons to co-sponsor a community forum, hosted
by the GCF and SGO, to be held in conjunction with the SGO annual meeting
in Phoenix.
This educational seminar will be held as a public service for the residents
of the Phoenix area to discuss the prevention, screening, early diagnosis
and treatment of gynecologic cancers.
Residents of the area will be reminded that these issues are particularly
relevant for women with breast cancers, and that this community seminar
will give them access to information from the organization whose members
are nationally and internationally known for their expertise in these
areas.
The SGO annual meeting will be held March 22-26, 1997 at the Pointe Hilton
on South Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona. The educational seminar date, time
and location will be announced along with the annual meeting program due
to be mailed later this year.
