Once You Have Been Treated, Then What?

After initial treatment you will be followed closely with visits every 3 to 4 months. That will go on for the first 3 years. Then you’ll have visits every 6 months. At each visit you will have a physical exam. That will include a pelvic exam and CA125 testing. Based on your situation you may have imaging tests. Those could include CT scans, X-rays, MRIs or PET scans. PPC has a tendency to recur with time. So you may require more than one round of chemotherapy. And you may also need more surgical procedures.
