Importance of Participation in Clinical Trials
There are many on-going clinical trials studying new and better ways to treat ovarian cancer. Many treatment options are available today because women with ovarian cancer were willing to participate in prior clinical trials.
If you want to see if there is a clinical trial available that is right for you, the Women’s Cancer Network has a clinical trials section that lists resources. You may find the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) section of special interest. That’s because it describes all of the current GOG Phase III ovarian cancer trials.
